Culloden + The War Game Dual Format

'Culloden' / 'The War Game' Director: Peter Watkins (1964/65) contains Blu-ray & DVD. Remastered, commentary, interviews, documentary.

Two innovative films from Watkins made for the BBC. Culloden is a reconstruction of the 1746 battle filmed as though being covered by a television news.

The War Game presents, in documentary style, a disturbing vision of the consequences of a limited nuclear attack on Kent after which society starts to collapse. The film was deemed too 'horrifying' to be broadcast at the time.
