Once Upon a Time in Anatolia DVD

'Once Upon a Time in Anatolia' Director: Nuri Bilge Ceylan (2011) Turkish w/ English subtitles 2 disc - Includes 90min documentary and interview.

Rich, nuanced and complex drama. A group of men - the police, a doctor, state prosecutor and the confessors - spend a long night in the Anatolian steppes trying to locate a buried body. The men's interactions reveal much about their deep thoughts and fears. Contains moments of breathtaking imagery which give the contained narrative a mythical quality.
